Airport Link and Northern Busway

At a total cost of $4.8 billion, Brisbane’s Airport Link project is Australia’s largest Private Public Partnership and one of our largest road infrastructure projects. RPS is principal urban designer and landscape architect for the Airport Link and Airport Roundabout upgrade aspects.

Our scope of design works is extensive and includes signature portal entries, noise walls and ventilation facilities, along with the creation of new land bridges for park space, Kedron Brook rehabilitation and the integration of existing and new public realm into the design.

RPS is also providing extensive pre-design survey services for the Airport Link component, including feature surveys, cadastral surveys and terrestrial scanning for the majority of the proposed 8 km route from Bowen Hills to the airport roundabout at Hendra.
