Oakajee Industrial Estate

RPS was recently appointed by LandCorp to provide both strategic and statutory planning services to assist in bringing the Oakajee Industrial Estate near Geraldton to fruition. Considered as being of both State and National importance, the Oakajee project has already involved a number of discussions and meetings with key stakeholders including LandCorp, the Department of State Development and the Department of Planning, amongst others.

RPS has been tasked with undertaking a number of discrete planning tasks, including upfront liaison with key stakeholders, review of planning documents, preparation of scheme amendments and structure plans as required and ongoing consultation on port and associated infrastructure.

RPS is pleased to have been appointed to this important project on the back of our extensive involvement in the region and in acknowledgement of our involvement in a number of similar large scale industrial projects. Our appointment was also based on our demonstrated understanding of planning requirements for key infrastructure and service corridors to support strategic industrial development, as well as an established and ongoing involvement in the Mid-West region of WA.
