RPS landscape architecture and survey teams were involved in the revitalisation of the Pajinka Day-use site, a significant tourism initiative for economic, social and environmental sustainability in Cape York Peninsula.

Our teams worked collaboratively with local and state government and community stakeholders to deliver a detailed design that was in keeping with the Cape York context. Environmentally sensitive design was vital in minimising the impact on the site while ensuring maximum site useability. This project is a crucial step in improving the ‘Cape York experience’ and will provide a gateway to an iconic part of the Australian landscape.
