As an organisation, RPS is committed to managing our enterprises in a sustainable manner and for setting benchmarks for best practice sustainability.
Our focus is on:
- Seeking to positively influence every project we participate in, where we can, so that it is more sustainable as a result of our involvement
- Providing sustainability leadership, education, advice and support to our clients, people, suppliers and to the communities in which we operate
- Fostering and encouraging relationships with clients and suppliers who practice environmental, economic and social responsibility
- Embedding the principles of sustainability in all our business practices and culture, including a commitment to prevent pollution
- Striving to ensure that all employees are treated with respect and enjoy a healthy and safe working environment
- Complying with all applicable legislation and chosen voluntary standards relevant to our industry.
At RPS, we treat Climate Change and Sustainability as a key technical area, but we also view these areas as considerations relevant to many of our projects.
Through this approach we ensure that the sustainability initiatives and climate change responses meet client needs and are responsive to stakeholder aspirations, but most importantly can be realistically delivered and measured.
